A Change In Perspective

A Change In Perspective

The International Civil Rights Museum changed my perspective of the Civil Rights Movement, shifting it from a movement made up of a number of important figures paving the way to a myriad of small but significant actions. In addition to reconstructing the bravery of the A&T Four, the tour stressed the importance of the future and the opportunity we, as young people, have to fight for equality. It is still extremely difficult to even imagine being in the same situation as the A&T Four, but being at the location where it took place put it more into perspective.
