BAM‼️! Now that I got your attention...
Wow, day 2 has already come to an end. So much has happened in my day in Atlanta. To start things off we attended a church service at Ebenezer Baptist Church across from the historical Ebenezer Baptist. The service was just wonderful because of the simple fact that he made several connections with religion and what goes on outside of church. Of course I love the songs we sang and I somehow still remember the words to some of them. After leaving service I visited the birth home of Martin Luther King Jr. Our tour guide was named Bruce Lee, like how awesome was that? BRUCE LEE! Anyways, getting back on track about my day I’ve seen the rooms and halls that Martin Luther King once ran through and sat in at a young age. From him and his siblings taking piano lessons to Martin and his brother terrorizing their sister by disembodying her baby dolls. I felt comfort walking through the house and not once grew uncomfortable. Not to make it sound as if I’m crazy, but I felt a presence. It was bad presence, but of purity. From there we visited The Civil & Human Rights Center. Walking through gave me an inspirational push to do something valuable for my world. I want to make a big impact and difference so that our planet can stop the hatred. Watching women who fought for their rights is so empowering because we deserve the same amount of respect as any man. This day overall has been wonderful, but it is still just the beginning of what I believe will be such an eye-opening experience.

It's powerful to realize that heros are also just people, right? Makes me think about how we all have the potential to do good and make a difference, sometimes we just have to figure out how to find the courage to use our voice. It makes me so happy that you are finding motivation to make an impact and help bring peace in our world. Maybe when you come back, you could help us figure out a way that our pod could do some of this work? Ricky Ross has a lot of good energy and powerful young women and men! I love you and I'm so proud of you for taking this journey! I can't wait to hear all about it - Ms. Ross
