Importance of Small Details

I think that one of the most significant parts about today’s tour at The International Civil Rights Museum and Center was our tour guide. In my opinion, she made the whole experience 10x better than how it would’ve been if it was self-lead. The passion she had about this part of history was very powerful and she really made me feel emotions that could not have been felt by just walking through the exhibits. She made me realize how important the smallest details such as a specialized travel book for blacks or the fact that blacks were expected to repent or beg in the face of terror, played a significant role in the society that thrives in the 60s.
