"Jail No Bail"
Today was a very eventful/intriguing day and a great way to start the tour. I learned about many new things and many new people through our tour of the museum. For instance I learned about Helen Suzman a white human rights activist born and raised in South Africa who fought against apartheid and a good friend of Gandhi. I also learned about the "Jail No Bail" plan that protesters did to overfill and bankrupt jails and that MLK was heading to(Greensboro), but then instead went to Memphis to lead a labor strike where two African American garbage men where crushed in a garbage truck for taking a break. All of this being very informative and some very shocking, but in conclusion today was a great day and I cannot wait for the Church service tomorrow.
